Workplace Courses

We take care of the training, you take care of your workplace. 

We offer all the common workplace first aid courses. If you are unsure about what your business/organisation needs, please get in touch directly and we can advise you. We are able to come to you from just two students upwards. These courses can be taken in one go, over consecutive days, or split to one day a week to help with staff rotas. First Aid at Work Courses:

This course is ideal for low-risk workplaces such as Schools, Church groups, Scouts’ leaders and small businesses. It gives you a clear understanding of basic life-saving skills, focusing on the most important situations.

This is generally required for larger workplaces or high-risk environments. It covers a thorough list of medical conditions and also gives you a strong understanding of how to deal with an emergency at work.

This is designed for those of you who wish to renew your FAW certificate. It should be taken 3 months prior to your certificate expiring or up to 28 days after; to keep your original certificate date.

The HSE highly recommend that all first aiders take a refresher course, to update and maintain your skills annually. The course is a reminder of the vital first aid skills, demonstrated through a practical session.

This workplace first aid course is designed for anyone seeking knowledge and training in performing CPR, dealing with an unconscious casualty and using an AED. Gain invaluable, life-saving skills in just a few hours.

This covers the full First Aid at Work course along with added issues, such as crush injuries, bites, ticks and the extreme heat/cold. These are all events the Forestry Commission recommend staff understand when working outdoors.

This covers the EFAW course and includes additional training recommended by the Forestry Commission; for incidents which can occur whilst working outdoors. For example, crush injuries, bites, ticks and the extreme heat/cold.

Tailor Made Course

We offer a customised course, suited to your interests or needs. Available any day of the week, during the day or evening, we can provide general first aid talks, or add extras to a workplace course. Please get in touch.

Paediatric Courses:

This course provides all the key knowledge of dealing with an emergency, as well as a range of childhood medical conditions. It also meets all the necessary requirements of the EYFS and Ofsted.

This meets the requirements for nannies, child-minders, au pairs and others who care for children. The course provides you with important life-saving skills for infants and children in a variety of critical situations.

Mental Health First Aid Courses:

Teaching the theory and practice of suicide intervention skills that can be applied in any professional or personal setting, captured in a one-day event accredited by City and Guilds of London.

Providing an in-depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing. Learn practical skills to spot the triggers & signs of mental health issues. Gain confidence to step in, reassure and support a young person in distress.

MHFA Champions have an understanding of common mental health issues, knowledge and confidence to advocate for mental health awareness, ability to spot signs of mental ill health and skills to support positive wellbeing. 

Providing an in-depth understanding of young people’s mental health and factors that can affect wellbeing. Learn practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues

Mixed Courses:

This takes you through the Emergency First Aid at Work course, as well as the Emergency Paediatric First Aid course; not including the more extensive issues as found on the full PFA syllabus.

This covers the Emergency First Aid at Work course and the full Paediatric First Aid course, meeting the necessary requirements of the HSE and the EYFS. You will receive both certificates after successfully completing the course.

Ideal for schools and those of you working with children, this course covers the First Aid at Work syllabus intended for bigger companies, as well as basic life support skills for junior and infant casualties.

This combines the First Aid at Work course with the Paediatric First Aid course in an easy way. Meet the HSE regulations and EYFS requirements in just one course; receiving both certificates upon completion.
